Gateway Central Plant provides hot and chilled water to nearly 2,000,000 SF / 2 city blocks of mixed-use real estate in downtown Salt Lake.

Project Summary

Upon acquiring The Gateway, the new owners upgraded the aging infrastructure to include LED lighting, lighting controls, HVAC reprogramming, boiler upgrades and cooling tower replacements & free-cooling optimization. All work was completed while allowing The Gateway to continue to fully operate. Improvements have allowed for additional usable capacity to include the construction of a new hotel.

Electric Use Reduced: 1,250,000 kWh/Yr
